How the Village began

The first Village Gathering

Los Angeles

On a Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, the women of the Village met each other for the first time.

Six months earlier, Next Evolution existed only as an idea Michelle had at two in the morning. By that afternoon it was a room full of women in her home, most of whom had never met.

The day was built around two reflection circles, kept small on purpose, so that everyone had room to speak and be heard.

What Michelle asked of them that afternoon was simple: "I want you to know one another."

That is still the point. When Michelle recommends someone, she isn't sending a referral. She's making a personal introduction.
