about michelle

With a background as a psychologist and two decades of experience working with women, Michelle has sat with people at every threshold of change.

But over time, one truth became clear. Women did not just need guidance.

They needed the right kind of support. And they needed each other.

in her own words

Michelle's Story.

Years of education, training, and long hours had built a life that, on the surface, looked like it was working.

I had always wanted to be a psychologist in private practice. It was something I had worked toward for years, and I had built it.

But the reality felt different than I expected. The one-on-one work was meaningful, but also isolating. I spent most of my days in session after session, and I found myself missing being around people, missing collaboration.

At the same time, I was navigating life as a divorced mom, co-parenting my two young children, trying to hold everything together.

And I was in a relationship that looked good enough on the surface, but I wasn't fully accepting how alone I actually felt within it.  There were moments of connection, enough to convince myself I was happy and fulfilled.

And then everything broke.

There came a moment I could no longer ignore. The relationship I believed would be my forever ended. I was heartbroken.

And alongside that heartbreak, my entire life structure shifted. I went from sharing parenting to carrying it on my own.
Working full time. Parenting full time.
Struggling to keep up with even the idea of self care.

There wasn't space to pause. I had to keep going while everything inside me was trying to catch up.

In that moment, something became clear. It took everything breaking for me to realize that I was the only one who could build a life that truly made me happy.

No one was going to create that for me. Not a relationship. Not a career milestone. Not something that simply worked. If I kept living the same way, I would keep feeling the same way.

So I made a decision. Even with less time and more responsibility, I chose to stop waiting and start building.

I also began to see support differently. Not based on intensity or chemistry, but on consistency. On who felt steady. Who followed through. Who I could actually trust.

That shift changed everything.

how it began

The making of Next Evolution.

Next Evolution was built from that shift.

This is not about putting people in a room. It is about who is in the room.

The people in this space are chosen for how they show up. Their integrity. Their depth. Their ability to create real change. Because when you are navigating something hard, who you turn to matters.

I had been in talk therapy for years. And I love my therapist. I am not going anywhere. But at my lowest point, I still felt stuck. Like I was processing the same things over and over without actually moving through them.

So I started trying other things.
Meditation. Somatic work.
Leaning into my support system in a different way.

And something shifted. Not because therapy stopped working, but because my body finally felt safe enough to let it work.

Most approaches focus on one path. One framework.
That is not wrong. But it is not the full picture.

Real change happens across multiple layers.
The mind. The body. The people around you.
Working together. Not separately.

This is what Next Evolution is built on.

A space for people navigating change.
Where you do not have to do it alone.
Where you are supported and guided.
Where change is actually created.

There comes a point where something no longer fits.
That is where your next evolution begins.
